Hi there! We have successfully flipped our calendars over and stepped into New Year!
Year 2023 Welcome!

As we continue our daily routines in January nothing really changes but that last day of December has this magical tinge to it. In January we all start a little bit anew, we want to try Veganuary or Dry January, we want to put more steps into our days, quit smoking or start working out. Yes please! These all sound amazing, but we know the hard reality usually hits us after two weeks in we are suddenly where we’ve been last year. In that matter the new year doesn’t really differs from the old one.
There’s no shame in that.
If we for whatever reason stop let’s pick the pace up the next day or at the beginning of the next week! Let’s do this! I am talking to you, as much as I am talking to myself, because as it happens I am lazy person who really like the comfort of chocolate and warm bed. However, not long ago I discovered that by moving I can get somewhere. Moving anywhere was a terrifying idea, not because my body was lazy, but because it usually involves getting somewhere where you have never been before, i.e. out of your comfort zone. So I did it slowly but continuously, even when I dropped my pace I found myself returning back on track even if it wasn’t 1. January. Life is not linear, it’s more like a wavelength. We know that from history, there was a period of Dark Ages just to be followed by Renaissance. So you also! Also me! :) If you fall back into dark ages just reinstate yourself next day, week or month whatever suits you. You are not obliged to perfection. Sometimes we need the dark ages to gain perspective on where we are. Sometimes we need more rest.
By this I want to wish you for the next year the strength to get back up again in case you fail, be that in a day or in a month. I wish you the strength to rest and recognise when your body or mind need to pause. I wish you to have positive outlook. And last but not least, I wish you to be your best friend the one who has kind words of encouragement at the time of need.
Let’s do this! :)
