What the Heck is This???

Classic in the world of art. I myself am guilty of uttering this on occasion. Why? Because I am human and also I am not restricted by the moral borders of art connoisseurs. Also I have no professional training in art criticism so take my worlds with a pinch of salt.

I have decided to start my site with this little question because some of you my feel exactly like that. What the heck does she paint? I don't get it... I don't like it... Etc. Well, it is fine, it is exactly as it should be. Artwork of any kind has specific group of people that it appeals to and another that it repels, and maybe another in which doesn't strike any particular emotion. There is variety in our lives and it is this that makes it worth living. Let's say everything was same shade of green, we would have troubles to recognise things. Why do we want to conform, to put everything into boxes from which there's no escape. Art is here for us to express and impress.
